This person will fill the gap between the CEO and some of the managers who report to
him, primarily on the administrative side of the business. The qualifications needed are:
- Major in business, finance/accounts, or some related field(s).
- Strong capabilities in accounts, external and internal audit, financial controls,
administrative processes. - Strong capabilities in inventory controls.
- Some prior experience in manufacturing.
- Well versed in HR processes and labor laws. Prior experience in dealing with the
Ministry of Labour/IDT would be an asset. - Good capabilities in sales, marketing and promotion, advertising, and social media.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to motivate staff and maintain good industrial
relations at a level above the HR Manager. - At least five years’ experience in a senior management level in a medium sized
Jamaican company. - Prior experience in SAGE 50 accounting package (or similar) would be an asset.
- Resides in the corporate area. Able to make routine visits to branches on a regular
basis.
The salary would be negotiable based on qualifications and experience, and the
company will provide a fully maintained motor vehicle, health benefits, and uniform
allowance. There will also be an end of year performance bonus.
